MTS Therapy |

Also known as microneedle therapy, the procedure involves the use of a dermaroller, with hundreds of extra-fine needles to induce controlled micro-injury to the skin, which responds by producing new collagen. The result is skin rejuvenation.
Apart from new collagen production, the micro-injury produced by MTS therapy also allows more effective absorption of topically applied nutrients deep into the skin for greatly enhanced (up to 40 times) effectiveness. The effectiveness of the treatment depends very much on the quality of the skin-healing solution used in the procedure. At Skin Focus, we only use MTS solutions containing the best medical-grade ingredients including growth factors, antioxidants, vitamins, and peptides for their proven skin-rejuvenating properties. The solution used is individually customized by our Medical Director depending on your needs.
Unlike other medical treatment, MTS therapy is administered directly to the target areas, ensuring the highest absorption where you need it most.
This procedure is carried out under topical anesthesia; the skin will be slightly red for the first 2-3 days, makeup and other daily activities are not affected. Treatment may be repeated after 2-3 weeks, or as directed by your physician based on your skin concerns.

Myths about MTS Therapy Busted
- MTS Therapy produces a lot of bleeding.
Contrary to popular belief, MTS therapy does not involve a lot of bleeding, no clients walk out of our clinic with any trace of blood on their face!
- The longer the needle on the Dermaroller, the better the results.
Treatment result is based on the quality and technique of administration of the dermaroller and the skin-healing solution used, not on the length of the needle. Length of needles is chosen on the basis of your skin concern. Longer needles are used mainly for deeper skin lesions such as acne scars. Apart from length of the needles, the strength of which the roller is applied to the skin also determines the depth of the treatment.
